The criteria are reviewed and enhanced annually, by the GDS-Movement team following online and offline consultation and input from assessors, key destinations and the Technical Advisory Committee.
Based on this input the GDS-Movement develops a first draft together with Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and then goes through a series of workshops to develop and finalise the criteria. The TAC must approve the final draft.
